The Pot of Gold Music Festival launches Friday, March 13, with Bastille, Awolnation, Chromeo, Girl Talk, Bleachers, Future Islands and Joywave.
Saturday’s lineup is topped by Lamar with sets by Slightly Stoopid, Schoolboy Q, Dirty Heads, KONGOS, the Expendables, Tribal Seeds, Grieves and Aer.
With the release of their debut studio album The Bright Side in 2012, Boston group Aer vaulted themselves into the spotlight. Tracks like “Floats My Boat” and “Like The Way,” which have over 5,000,000 views to date on YouTube, helped earn the album a top 100 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. And they did it all without the help of a major label. Their self-titled album, released last January, grew the fan base of the laid-back rap/jam band duo further as Aer peaked at #26 on the Top 200, resulting in a sold-out nationwide tour and performances at major festivals including Outside Lands, Bumbershoot Music Festival, Firefly Music Festival, Summer Set Music Festival and more.
Now, as the duo gears up for the release of their third studio album they’re setting out across the country to give their fans a taste of their energetic, rowdy performances first hand, introducing crowds to a slew of new music each night.
